Hello World

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to start this “blog” for a while. I’ve had blogs before - I had a brief run in 2013-2014 where my (extremely) personal blog reached greater heights than I had ever imagined possible - but I’ve since removed most of that content from the internet entirely. I’ve also been slowly eliminating my social media presence, mostly because I don’t like feeling like there are little pieces of me scattered all over the place that don’t represent the whole. So there isn’t really a “home” for me on the web anymore. Except this site, now. A little digital haven.

This may end up being little more than just a hub for links to the other places you can find me online (currently consisting only of LinkedIn and the Salesforce Trailblazer community), but who knows? Maybe I’ll become a #content-creator one of these days. I could tell lots of good stories about being a New Englander living in the South, or attempting to recreate my favorite budgeting webapp in hledger, or the many things I now know NOT to do when you buy a car. Perhaps I’ll make some space for those things here.

In any case, if you’re reading this, welcome. I hope to provide some value to you, at some point, somehow. Thanks for being here.
